WHY WE EXIST
Our focus is to band together all like-minded organizations dealing with various forms of abuse to then at one time show communities who exist to empower them. We show the children who will be their voice and protector while helping adult victims of crime connect with the organizations that can meet their needs. We exist so people who need help can get the help they need to take a S.T.A.N.D. and those who do not know how to help can learn how to Stop The Abuse Next Door.
We S.T.A.N.D. to bring awareness to injustices experienced by victims within the legal system. We meet with prosecutors, judges and law enforcement officials to encourage victims’ rights in local communities. We share of the importance for each city to establish a victims’ rights week, proclamations, and yearly celebrations showing every citizen they are of value. We connect communities with organizations who are equipping, educating, and protecting the abused in their neighborhoods. We lend a hand of support and are a voice of empowerment for victims and volunteers by saying we,”Got Your Back”, and are here to take a S.T.A.N.D. to Stop The Abuse Next Door. We understand that only through building relationships within communities can each individual S.TA.N.D. We establish a safe foundation for neighborhoods to view who is caring for their children and well being so they can learn how to Stop The Abuse Next Door. We invite communities to link hand to hand and S.T.A.N.D. up for the value of each person young and old. This is real community.
